Tarrant County Democratic Woman’s Club promotes economic justice and social progress for all people by assisting Democratic candidates at the local, state, and national level.
Our club was founded in 1928, making us the oldest grassroots organization of its kind in Texas.
We proudly support Democratic women seeking election to public office, as a local chapter of Texas Democratic Women, the women’s caucus for Texas Democrats.
Guests are always welcome to attend our meetings, events and service projects. Our regular monthly meeting is usually held on the 2nd Saturday of each month inside Stage West theatre, 821 W. Vickery in Fort Worth.
Join us for coffee and conversation at 10am, program at 10:30. Guest speakers are announced here, on our social media and in our email newsletter.
Saturday, May 9: TCDP Chair Allison Campolo
“I’m aiming to make us a million dollar party. I’m aiming to talk to over a million voters,” Allison Campolo told KERA after being elected Tarrant County Democratic Party chair last summer. “We can flip this county.”
Allison holds four degrees including a PhD in Biomedical Science. She’s a mom, a marathon runner, a self-described nerd, an animal advocate, an international Kung Fu champion and creator of the county-wide voter registration initiative Tarrant Together. She ran for a state senate seat in 2018 and then led the coordinated campaign for that year’s nominee and winner, Democrat Beverly Powell.
If you want to be inspired by a tireless Democratic badass woman, don’t miss this meeting and a chance to hear Allison, our beloved and hardworking TCDP chair!
Join us inside Stage West theater at 821 W. Vickery Blvd. Fort Worth. Coffee service starts at 10 and the program begins at 10:30. As always, guests are welcome.
